For this task, we were told to film a short continuity task, with certain scenario, to develop our camera and editing skills. The scenarios that we were told to use were, match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180 degree rule.
I wasn't in for the first lesson, which my group with enshell and leslie started the filming. I was in for the editing lessons though, during the editing, we had to cut the video at the right points to create continuity, the first shot being keys being thrown to one another, this was match on action. We were also told to do a few actions like, opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair. The next shot was of enshell sitting down as a news reporter, and he was sitting infront of a green screen, and we had to apply an image to the back which was "Fat man eating worlds largest burger". This was the sitting down action.
The whole filming process was used with the 180 degree rule.

ReplyDeleteGood so far, but if you look at the instructions I've asked you to evaluate what you learned about the process. You should give more detail about FCP and HOW you edit, not just what you did. The key word is EVALUATION, this is not a recount.
