Synopsis of complete film - Adam

In this blog, i hope to create a better understanding of what i expect from the film and details of the characters, setting, plot and narrative structure.

The main character in the film is the normal teenage boy, attending college, but he seems distanced from other people. The second main character is the Zombie, who enters soon after the threat of zombies has been realised. It's set inside a college, mainly in the common room of our sixth, often a busy place. The main character the begins to dance after music starts to play and it turns into a dance-off between the main character and the zombie.

We notice the setting straight away with an establishing shot of the school, this then goes into the main character walking into the common room, sitting around people, but, not noticing them, but what is on the TV. The zombie then bursts in scaring everyone, the zombie tries to attack, but the main character stops him and then he begins to dance and it turns into a dance off, after they finished dancing, we plan to have 3 judges, comically copying reality competition programs.

The main character seems like your average student, he enters sitting amongst people, but doesn't enter conversation with them. We want the audience to see him as the average student.
But, we want the audience not to be scared of the zombie, but see it more comical and laugh at both of the characters antics.

Hopefully the audience will find the piece funny and get a few laughs from the antics of the characters and just realize the stupidity of what's about to happen.

22/4/09

During the lesson on 22nd April 2009, we worked on editing our filming, we also watched two of the other groups edited pieces. My group edited during the whole lesson and searched for sound for our piece. I also had to attempt at finding sound through Soundtrack Pro. Enshell worked mainly on the actual editing of the film. Nothing really went wrong, apart from trying the upload footage onto my profile, but we uploaded it onto Enshell's profile instead.

Watching the other groups video, i realised my group needs to catch up with a lot of editing and was impressed by the progress of the other groups.
